Adding bullet points or icons to text

How can I add a bullet point (or any icon) before the bolded text?

Hello @diytravelhq,

Thanks for asking.

You can use Cornerstone text element as it has WYSIWYG editor that can be used to add bullets. Here is a screencast that you can take a look. https://screencast.com/t/byle4XDJM

You also have the option to use HTML codes. As you are looking to add bullets before bold texts, you can use HTML <ul></ul> tags. For more information, please refer following tutorial. https://www.w3schools.com/html/html_lists.asp

Thanks.

Screencast didn’t work for me as I don’t have Adobe Flash Player but the link to the HTML codes is awesome, thanks!

One more thing - how can I centre the bullet? It does not change when I centre the text

Hi There,

Please provide us with the URL of that page so we can take a closer look.

Thanks.

How can I have the bullet centred with the text?

Hey There,

It is best that you provide us the url of the page where we can find this bolded text and the bullet icon. You may have set it up differently or have inserted incorrect code.

Thank you in advance.

My page is not live yet.

The code I’m using is:

Hi there,

Unfortunately, having that section of code is no use for us as we do not know which CSS code is applied and how you added the code. The best way is that you Save the page in the Cornerstone as a template:

Then send us the .csl file using an online file sharing service and paste the link here. That way we can import the template in our local installation and know exactly about the setup to be able to help.

Alternatively, I suggest that you keep using the Feature List or Headline elements in Cornerstone:

Thank you.
