Added portfolio to nav menu, but it shows as home

It’s set as a Portfolio under Template. I keep trying to add it to my main nav menu, but when I click it, it takes me to home…Ideas?

Hi there,

I did not see any Portfolio menu item that is why I could not find the place you are talking about. If you want to have a page which shows the Portfolio items you need to add a page and set the Page Template to Portfolio. For more information please kindly read this article.

The other point to check is that you are using heavy cache and optimization plugins that might cause problems, as the assets of the Cornerstone and the theme are minified by default and you need to exclude those assets or else you may have problems rendering the page correctly.

Finally, you need to go to X > Theme Options > Portfolio and make sure the slug of the portfolio is different than the slug of the page which you set the page template to portfolio.
