ACF Number Field (Dynamic) Not Working with Rating Element

Created a simple ACF custom number field to use with the Rating Element (Stars) and using “Step Size” of .5 but it’s not working. Simplified it to use “no step size” … only whole integers and it still doesn’t work.

{{dc:acf:field field=“star_rating”}}

Set number to 5 but it displays 1 star

Any ideas?
