404 Error Message In Cornerstone

Hi there,

I’m working on a new website, and have had no issues until today - I’m constantly getting 404 messages, especially when I try to add elements in Cornerstone - any ideas why?

Thank you!

Jess

Hello Jess,

Thanks for asking.

Please take a look at the solution mentioned in following thread and let us know how it goes.

Thanks.

Hi,

Thanks for your fast reply - it’s not clear just from this what the ‘same setting’ is - can you please let me know? I already tried going into Permalinks under Settings in the main menu, but I don’t have anything to do with the index.php enabled.

I updated Cornerstone, cleared cache and the problem persists.

thank you,
Jess

Hello Jess,

Thanks for updating the thread.

In that case, can you please share website login details in secure note for us to take a closer look?

Thanks.

Great, I have just added one there - thank you!

Hey Jess,

Looks like there’s a problem accessing the backend of your site. Please check.

In addition to what @Prasant suggested, please try resetting your permalinks by going to WP Admin Menu, go to Settings > Permalinks and just click the Save Changes button.

If that does not help, please give us FTP access also.

Thanks.
