CS Forms – Filtering Returns Blank

Hello,

I have set up a series of checkbox lists on the blog archive of a new site using Cornerstone Forms. I followed along with the YouTube tutorial and I am confident I have everything configured correctly based on the tutorial, but every time I check one of the options, the “loader” does its thing and then the page shows zero posts (so is blank) – so I’ve done something wrong…

I have ensured the name in the checkbox list matches the taxonomy name, and that the change selector matches the content area I want to affect with the form options – what am I missing??

Thanks

Hey @radcoverdale,

Thanks for writing in!

I have investigated your Form Filter, and it seems that the Post Column has an issue. I just can’t figure out what it is. I recreated a layout for testing. You can check the link in the secure note below.

Even if I copy a column from your layout into my test layout, my test layout will no longer work. My hunch is that something within your column, such as the conditions, is causing the issue.

You can take the test demo and slowly transform it according to your desired design instead.

Cheers.

Hello Rue, thanks so much for taking a look at this for me – super helpful as I was able to verify that I didn’t set up the Form incorrectly.

Turns out that the issue was I had a Looper Provider & Consumer inside the column for the Post Term that was conflicting – I didn’t need the looper configured this way as the {{dc:term:name}} would work anyway.

Sorted the issue!

Glad that things are well for you.
