If you want to use SSL with your website then the first thing you’ll have to consider is if your site is ready and all elements on your site are secure.

A secure element is an element with a relative URL. This means the url does not use http:// or https:// as url. It uses //. By using a relative URL the element/link or site gets loaded based on the fact if SSL is turned on or not. If it’s turned on it will be served as https:// if not http:// that way you are flexible and all your elements and urls are ready for SSL.

To check if your pages are ready and fully secure you can use a service like WhyNoPadlock . Additionally there are WordPress plugins that can secure your content automatic. One of them that some of our customers are using is: SSL Insecure Content Fixer .

Enabling SSL

We’ve automated the SSL activation so the only thing you need to do is pointing your domain to our hosting and giving it some time to validate the certificate.
