I am using a child theme of X version 3.2.5 and in my “System Status” i see the following under the “Templates” section: “x/woocommerce/cart/cart.php version 2.3.0 is out of date. The core version is 2.3.8,”

How do I fix this?

Thanks for writing in! Please use this patch file (https://cldup.com/WafLVro-da.zip).

Though, that will still display some out of date templates. It’s simply because X theme WooCommerce templates are only made compatible to the WooCommerce’s version the time X theme update’s released.

We can’t just release X theme update on every WooCommerce update because some changes on WooCommerce templates are just version, and changes on actual code are very rare. Template coding could change if it’s major update that contains large gap on coding and structure.

Though, we could add new set of WooCommerce templates on next X theme update as we always do 🙂

It seems that you are using an older version of X. To resolve this issue, you have to update to the latest versions. Our latest versions are:
X Theme: 4.0.5
Cornerstone: 1.0.4
Visual Composer: 4.6.1
Revolution slider: 4.6.93

Please take note that X shortcodes 3.0.5 has been deprecated and it is no longer supported and compatible with the latest X 4.0 release version. Please deactivate and delete this plugin. We have replaced it with Cornerstone plugin which you can install by going to X Addons > Extensions.

If you find anything to be out of date, you can review our update guide.

Once everything is updated, if you have installed a caching plugin (like WP Super Cache), please clear your plugin cache before testing your site. This can cause the changes to not take place on the front end. It will eventually show up when the cache regenerates, but it’s not ideal if you’re looking to see your changes immediately. Caching plugins are best to turn on only when you’ve finished building the site.
