When I add a item from the shop and I go to cart and want to remove the item with the (x) then nothing happens it is almost like the page does not refresh or something to that affect. I have installed the latest version of Woocommerce and it happened on the latest then I uninstalled the latest version and installed 2.3.0 and this is still doing the same. The only way I can remove the item out of the cart by placing a 0 in the qty and update cart.

Then a second problem on the Shop menu I have for instance 3 products when I say add to cart it add’s the item but it does not display a message saying it has been added, but if you go into the product and then say add to cart it does display a message.

Any help would be appreciated

It seems you have enabled Ajax add to cart option. Please disable it under WooCommerce > Settings > Products > Display > Add to cart behaviour (see: http://prntscr.com/6xo5zn).

Upon testing your site I was able to remove products from cart page by clicking on X icon.

I tried the remove button many times on many different computers, the remove button is working just fine for me. Would you mind confirming the issue again? Perhaps, you can provide us with more details, i.e., your OS and its version and browser and its version. If possible, please also provide us with a video of the issue.
