I’ve got a client that wants to have social media icons in the menu.

I’m against this but they want it so just wondering. Is there a way to have icon only on the nav bar – or add social profiles please ?

You can add social icons as menu items (<i class=”x-icon x-icon-facebook”></i>) using custom links (http://screencast.com/t/1nX4ULu8r) and add further customizations.

On X version 4, the above code wouldn’t work without a little tweak. On X v4 you need to add the data-x-icon attribute with the icon’s unicode:

<i class="x-icon-home" data-x-icon=""></i>
