Hi,

I have built a revolution slider (fullscreen) and have the problem that the text not adapt to the resolution. For smartphone or tablet resolution the textsize is the same. i have activated the responsive function. the weird thing is when i resize the browser viewport the text resize also. but when i reload the page i got the old textsize.

you can view the slider on this page.

Hey Tobias,

Thanks for writing in! How have you happened to setup your text layers in the slider? Did you position them by dragging and dropping them in the preview slide above all your settings, or did you use the alignment setting? We’ve found that using these alignment settings vs. simply dragging and dropping can create issues like this, which is why in all of our demos we manually place our elements (as you can see in our demonstrations all text is resized as expected on tablets and phones). Hopefully that helps you out with your particular situation.

Thanks!

Hello could anyone go into more detail about solving this problem? I’ve been trying to solve it. Is there a video demonstrating proper ways to create responsive layers in sliders?

Hi Gregory!

Thank you for using the theme!

All you need to do is manually specify the position of the layers on the slider. If you use the drag and drop feature of the revolution slider, it tends to have an issue calculating the actual position of the object inside the slider. Edit the slides then look for Layer General Parameters, specify the position of the element manually on the Align, Position & Styling section.

Cheers!

Hi Gregory,

The fix was using layer aligment setting, like this http://awesomescreenshot.com/0682psotd0 .

Which upon checking your site, it is correctly aligned.

But your font sizes were too small, then I think you will need to change its style to make it bigger. You could also edit your layer style. Or set “White Space” wrap, or normal.

Hope this helps.

Hi Gregory,

I saw your first slide, and it’s cool. I think you should follow that size. It also responds on screen width. Though button is still small.

Would you mind if you give me a login for that? I just want to check your slider setup.

Thank you.
