Sorry for what may be a silly question but, even though I am not new to WordPress, I have very little technical knowledge and get confused by all the jargon.

I have used the video to install the X theme but it always gets stuck at ‘unpacking the package’. I’ve been searching for 2 hours now and cannot find anything I understand to fix it. What I found mostly referred to 1and1 but my site is hosted by Freshsites.co.uk and I didn’t want to mess anything up.

At one point it said that the style sheet was missing and now it is saying that the template is missing.

1. Your URL.
2. Your WordPress login credentials.
3. Your FTP credentials.

Once we have all of this, we’ll be happy to take a deeper look into things.

In the meantime, please try adding this to the top of your .htaccess file and see if it solves the issue:

AddType x-mapp-php5 .php
