I want to remove it but I cannot find the place where its settings are.

Maybe I can help.

I think what you are referring to is a widget area that slides down from the top of your site.
You may find the settings for this in the ‘customize’ menu under HEADER > WIDGET BAR

If you set widgets to none, the triangle will disappear.
