Hey, ok, so I must be blind or something.. I just can’t find the visual composer plugin installation files anywhere! And I cannot see that it is already installed either

In the extensions folder of the installation files I downloaded today I had 13 of the 15 extensions mentioned on the extensions promotion page (http://theme.co/x/extensions/), the two that are missing are Visual Composer and Slider Revolution.

Can someone please point me in the right direction so I can get the Visual Composer installed and working as it should, as this is driving me crazy!?

Thanks for any help in resolving this issue 🙂

Hi There,

You can manually install Visual Composer by going to the Plugins tab Add New > Upload and then go into your x theme folder under framework/plugins/ inside you will find a zip file called js_composer.zip select it and install the plugin. Now your Visual Composer should be installed.

Hey,

Thanks. I found it and installed it. It looks like the visual composer is displaying properly when editing, but it won’t update anything on the site.. Oh, and also, when I change what template is chosen under page attribute, nothing happens

I read the release notes and have followed the instructions without success
I also tried deleting the js_composer file via ftp and upload again from there

More background info:
– as you may have guessed I installed the VC (4.3.5) after the X-theme update
– I used the demo content function to choose the integrity9 layout

Please advice.

Thanks!
