<p>there is no native way but you can go to the &#8220;Custom&#8221; tab in the Customizer and insert following value:</p>
<p><code>.x-navbar { background: rgba(0,0,0,.8); }</code></p>
<p>This should make the header transparent. Making the footer transparent is a bit more tricky.</p>

<p>Currently, there is not a way to do this. This is because when you set your blog page as your posts page under <strong>Settings</strong> > <strong>Reading</strong>, it is no longer strictly a <strong>page</strong> in WordPress terms. Setting your page this way changes some of the way that WordPress sees this page, thus, certain things like sliders aren&#8217;t available. This is something that we are aware of and are looking to address in a future release of the theme.</p>
