I have an issue importing the portfolios from my ex-website.
All my post, pages and even portfolio categories were imported without any problem.
Here is the message i get :

Failed to import “OPEL /// Application Kinect”: Invalid post type portfolio
Failed to import “RFM /// Guerilla Mapping”: Invalid post type portfolio
Failed to import “IRSTEA – Serious Game”: Invalid post type portfolio

All done. Have fun!

Remember to update the passwords and roles of imported users.

The post type used by your old portfolio items is portfolio while X post type is x-portfolio. You can try changing your old portfolio items post type to x-portfolio and re-importing, but we cannot guarantee it will work as post meta fields for X might be different from your old portfolios. You may wish to consult a developer to assist you with this.

In regards to your other questions:

#2: We’re using above masthead slider to achieve that. Please watch our video walkthrough on sliders to add a slider above your masthead. In regards to the slider with 4 blocks and background video, as it’s a revolution slider, regretfully, this demo slider isn’t available to distribute.
