Hi awesome Themeco Staff,
Having trouble with my site on mobile (both Android and Iphone). I am using X Theme (Ethos theme) and all is perfect on the computer side but on mobile it looks terrible. I understand it should look different due to the mobile responsive coding built into the theme but it looks nothing like my site. the colors, font colors and styles, headers, footer, navbar, you name it, everything is incorrect. Only about 5% of my design seems to have come through to the mobile wnd which is the video player, the page names in the menu bar and the favicon.
Additionally, at the bottom it says “proudly powered by wordpress”. the problem here is that this is not only a Themeco theme i’m using but I am not being hosted by WordPress. My host is Pleask at GoDaddy. Anyone have any insight on why this is happening?

Thanks for writing in! Upon checking your website I can’t find any issue on responsiveness. Would you please specify the problems with some screenshot so that we can understand the issue and assist you on this?
Cheers!
November 9, 2015 at 6:29 pm #658832Hi! Sure thing. I have attached snaps of the mobile view. If you go to the url above on a pc you’ll see the stark difference. These are both screen caps of the home page where the video player seems to work fine and load videos properly, just nothing else is like the computer version.

November 10, 2015 at 12:01 am #659101Hello There,
Thank you for the screenshot. It seems that it is pointing to a different version of your site when visiting it mobile. Above Proudly powered by WordPress text, there’s a link View Full Site: which goes to http://nickholidaymusic.com?ak_action=reject_mobile. When you click the link it will reload your mobile Ethos version of your site. Please check in with your hosting provider about the settings that will load the same site on mobile.
Hope this helps.
December 3, 2015 at 3:20 am #689881Hi,
Thanks. I figured it out. It wasn’t a hosting issue. Just want to post this for anyone who may need it in the future. All of the headache had to do with a simple click. Both wordpress and jetpack automatically have their Mobile Site feature enabled upon installation. This is to allow better mobile responsiveness so the site looks better on small screens. Either go into your wordpress or your jetpack plugin and go to Appearance> Mobile and disable or deactivate the Mobile Theme.
So annoying. It makes sense to automatically be switched on i guess for most themes, but since x has the responsiveness built in all it does is cause a lot of confusion on why the mobiel site is a completely different theme/color scheme/etc.
Thanks, again, and have a good one!
