Hi,

site in development and it just keeps timing out and crashing

logs give this error most of the time
PHP Fatal error: Call to undefined function is_plugin_active() in /var/www/vhosts/###/httpdocs/wp-content/plugins/js_composer/config/map.php on line 2340, referer: http://###/wp-admin/edit.php?post_type=page

using theme version 2.1.0, with
xshortcodes Version 2.3.2
WPBakery Visual Composer 4.1.3

any ideas?

problem fixed, it was to do with the fact it was on a subdomain which had too strict a limit on the openbase_dir settings. Oce settings were revised the site now workds fine.
