AS a matter of fact how do I add comments to a page (cuz I do see it is working on posts).

Hello There,
You have to turn on the comments on the page before it will be displayed. And please take note that comments section is disabled and will not be visible if you are using Blank page templates. It is only available in the default and layout page templates excluding the layout portfolio page template.
Adding the comments section to all your page template will require a template customization and we would like to suggest that you use a child theme. This allows you to make code changes that won’t be overwritten when an X update is released. After your child theme is setup, please review how we recommend making template changes in Customization Best Practices.
As this is all custom development, regretfully we won’t be able to assist further. Custom development is outside the scope of our support. We’re happy to provide advice and get you started in the right direction, but you would still be responsible for the implementation.
