I want to create a landing page (static) and a blog with X.
After seeing what you have done with some designs i was in love and I am trying to replicate them. However, I’m having problems with the headers, as i want a different one for the blog and for the landing.

Is there a way to do this? And also, would it be possible to see the insides of the demos your team created? I would love to see how you used the shortcodes.

the landing page is customized by us that’s why we can’t really provide that as demo content since it needs a lot of customization. About the navigation: that’s currently not possible. There is only one navigation that you can assign to the header.

You are correct, this is because we have several different installations. Each new demo you go to is like it’s own site, which is why it has a completley unique design, and slightly different navigation. Our apologies if this was confusing, but this was just for demonstration purposes.

Typically with a site, you’re going to want your navigation to remain consistent from page to page so that your users don’t get confused. Furthermore, should you require additional navigation, you can setup another menu and use the native WordPress menus widget in a sidebar, similar to this example.

At this time, we have no plans to add in the ability to swap out navigation for the reasons cited above. However, if you could provide us with some understanding of the use case in which you’re needing this feature, if it seems like something that could benefit the vast majority of our users, we will certainly put it into our development timeline.

The two sites are completely different from each other although they are in the same domain.
The landing page is http://www.dinaru.com
And the blog is http://www.dinaru.com/blog

That is why i want them to have two completely different navigations.

However, what i’m seeing is that I should probably use a WPMU and install it in othe directories so that we can use both navigations. The thing is that i wanted to have everything in one for scalability

In that case, I’d recommend using one of our Blank templates to simply hide the navigation on the landing page, and then link out to the blog either in the footer or somewhere else in your content.
