Thanks for writing in! Regretfully counter feature is not included on theme so you can’t use it on slider. However maybe you want to build your coming soon page. In that case you can use our Under Construction Extension – http://theme.co/x/demo/extensions/under-construction/

It includes the counter. You can check all the demo.

I’m actually not looking for a countdown feature. I want to use the counter shortcode in X and place in a slider header like the one in above example (http://demo.qodeinteractive.com/bridge44/). Please let me know if that’s possible.

Yes, it is possible. Revolution slider gives you ability to add layers ,to do so click on add layer button inside individual slider and add shortcode in Text / Html section.
