I have my page template set to “blank – no container” because I don’t want a box around the content, I want it full width. But now my content is pushed to the very edges of the page, even though I have it set to 88%. I’m not sure what I’m doing wrong. I want it to be similar to Integrity 9.

Claire,

You aren’t doing anything wrong, that is how that template is supposed to function. The container is removed so that you can use the [content_band] shortcode and have the fullwidth sections like you see on the homepage demos for X.

You can center you content again by adding inner_container=”true” to your shortcode, like so:

[content_band inner_container="true"]
 ...content here...
[/content_band]

Additionally, there is more you can adjust with this element. You can read more about it in the documentation, as well our examples on the demonstration websites under Features.

You might be pleased to know that we’re wrapping up development on a revamped shortcodes plugin which is much more streamlined, as well as a page builder that will allow you to easily layout your page in a visual way.

Let us know if you need anything else!
