Hi,

I am trying to create a button that will pre-populate an email. I have done this in other themes and it works fine. With X I am only getting the CC field filled in and not the subject or body. This is a sample of the shortcode I am using.

[button href=”mailto:?cc=SAMPLE@XEMAIL.com&subject=Test%20Subject&body=This is a test email. This is the content body of the email. This should pre-polulate the email allowing the sender to add in a recipient name while the CC is already filled in.” title=”E-mail Test” target=”self” shape=”rounded” size=”large” block=”false” circle=”false” icon_only=”true” info=”” info_place=”” info_trigger=”” info_content=””] Send E-mail [/button]

Thanks!

Hey Scott,

I have just copied your [button] code into the theme on our development environment and everything filled out correctly for me. The Cc field, subject line, and the body of the email are all in place. What browser and mail client are you using?

Thanks!

I had some amp codes in my actual code that didn’t copy over when cutting and pasting here. I found and removed them after comparing to the code I put above. That fixed it. Thanks!
