Hi,

So I’ve been trying to find ways to add a cornerstone card element to my revolution slider. I’ve tried entering the shortcode for the card into a layer on the slide, but it doesn’t show up the same way it would on a regular page.

Would you mind sharing us the details on how you setup the card element on your revolution slider and please share us your admin credentials so we could check it why it is not working.

Hi there,

Thanks for the credentials. Card element is a bit complex element and might not work within slider properly. It supposed to be used as Cornerstone element. Kindly use other elements that provides standalone Shortcodes. And if you can’t see the Text Element anymore, kindly remove the slide and add again.

Thanks. I thought(feared) as much. Theoretically, though, I can create my own kind of flip card element within the slider using custom CSS and Javascript right?

Yes that would be better if you try to create your own element with some CSS/JS. But it’s not ideal to use such element within slider I guess.

What’s really confusing me is that it’s been done before on what appears to be an older version of xtheme and therefore an older version of revolution slider.

This site http://keydentalwestend.ca/ doesn’t use cornerstone card’s element, the classes are different. It might have used third party plugin or custom shortcode, see :
