Hi,

I get the 403 Forbidden Access to this resource on the server is denied!Error when trying to install
the theme.co add on extensions. I am not with Host Gator, I am with VentraIP an Australian Hosting company, as I am in Australia.

This is a real problem as I am wanting to install the revolution slider and visual composer, but can’t!
As you will see I am also using a temporary URL. maybe that has something to do with it.

Any help will be greatly appreciated.

Thanks

Hi there,

Have you contact you host provider? Have you read the note for HostGator users ? As you may have the same server configuration problem.

For the time being you can install the plugins manually. In the main X Theme folder that you downloaded from Theme Forest, you can locate the “revslider.zip” and “js_composer.zip” files under (“X/framework/plugins/”). Then unzip the plugins files and use a FTP Client software (FileZilla Client) to upload them into your server (“ROOT/wp-content/plugins/”) folder.

Once you have uploaded them into the server, login to your WordPress back-end and head over to the Plugins -> Installed plugins to activate those plugins.

Hope it helps.
