Hey guys,
My X theme website is now live! Yey.
I do have some issues, now it is on the live domain, the logo URL is still pointing back to the old development domain. There are other instances of this also. I have used velvet blues to ensure all urls are pointing to the new server, and changes the urls in settings general, i have even reloaded the logo again but no look.
What am i doing wrong!
July 1, 2015 at 9:18 am #318230Hi There,
Thanks for writing in and congrats for the new site! However upon checking your website, I can see the images on new website. That means it’s working perfectly.
See what I am seeing on logo – http://www.currantweb.co.uk/wp-content/uploads/2015/05/currant-logo-new.jpg
And slide image – http://www.currantweb.co.uk/wp-content/uploads/2015/05/currant-slide.jpg
I believe those are on your new website. So you might facing cache issue on your browsers that still detecting old uploads. Let’s clear the browser cache or try on another browser/PC.
Let us know how it goes.
Cheers!
July 1, 2015 at 9:34 am #318252Hey mate,
I managed to fix it which is why it looked fine for you, i went into the database and did a find replace. Are there any other reasons why this would of happened.
Also, I am now running into the issue of when i go to edit an existing page in cornerstone none of my sections are there? They are only there because all of the shortcodes in the editor? Its like it isn’t picking it up.
Please help.

July 2, 2015 at 11:31 am #319374Hi There,
Thanks for updating! It seems the page wasn’t built with Cornerstone. Note that only Cornerstone template and the page you built with Cornerstone would be editable with Cornerstone. You can create new page with Cornerstone and edit them without any issue. If you want to convert your old page template to Cornerstone, you have to recreate it.
Thanks for understanding!
Cheers!
July 8, 2015 at 4:40 am #324127Hi,
I don’t want to come across blunt but it really was built in cornerstone, i built the thing myself using the page builder.
Surly these shortcodes are proof?
[x_section parallax=”false” bg_image=”http://www.currantweb.co.uk/wp-content/uploads/2015/05/currant-slide.jpg” class=”mobile-banner” style=”margin: 0px 0px 0px 0px; padding: 45px 0px 45px 0px; “][x_row inner_container=”true” marginless_columns=”false” bg_color=”” style=”margin: 0px auto 0px auto; padding: 0px 0px 0px 0px; “][x_column bg_color=”” type=”1/1″ style=”padding: 0px 0px 0px 0px; “][x_text class=”center-text mobile-top-header”]
I bought X Theme for the sole purpose of using cornerstone, so there is definitely no way this wasn’t put together using the page builder?
Any idea?
July 8, 2015 at 6:26 am #324205Hi Adam,
Sorry to hear about your issues!
This depends on how the migration is done. It is needed to make sure the post meta is transferred.
In this situation, if you have your local/staging installation of the website, I’d suggest you to try importing the Cornerstone pages to the live installation (see: http://prntscr.com/7nm8y5).
Thanks!
